A selection of photographs from 'Approaching Garland' (2020-2022).

In the fall of 2016 I was at the rock climbing gym in Flagstaff, Arizona talking to a man I regularly see there and this man told me I should check out Sycamore Falls near Parks, Arizona. He mentioned something about driving on "Garland Prairie Rd" to get there. I thought it sounded intriguing, so I noted down the directions, and a few days later I took a drive there for the first time. I was mesmerized. Throughout college, I would return to Garland Prairie always with the idea of a more serious project on my mind. Fast forward to January 2020 and I began 'Approaching Garland'. A sincere thank you to all of the people in Coconino County, Arizona who have helped me along the way.
